The sitcom which is currently airing its 26th season, and also the longest-running scripted show in television history, will be making it through season 27 and 28.
'The Simpson' which has won 31 Emmy Awards, 31 Annie Awards and was nominated for an Academy Award in 2012, is averaging 6.2 million total viewers per episode and a 2.9 among adults 18-49.
