New romance comedy hits cinemas today, September 4

The movie starring a South African star-studded cast is set to take viewers on a journey of love, drama, humour and complications. Check out viewing times.

Akin Omotosho's upcoming romantic comedy 'Tell Me Sweet Something' which is set in Johannesburg, South Africa, hits Nigeria cinemas today September 4.

The feature film produced by Omotoso, Robbie Thorpe and Ronnie Apteker, was inspired by the film Love Jones and the director’s love for love songs.

'Tell Me Sweet Something' is currently showing in the below listed Cinemas;

‘Tell Me Sweet Something’ is about a hopeful writer called Moratiwa who runs a bookstore in Johannesburg. As the writer suffers from lack of love and writer’s block, her faith changes when she meets a model called Nat at a nightclub.

The movie is set to take viewers on a journey of love, drama and complications. It stars Nomzamo Mbatha, Maps Maponyane, Thishiwe Ziqubu, Kagiso Lediga, Thomas Gumede, Thembi Seete and Mandisa Bardill.

Omotosho's movies and documentaries include ‘Man on Ground’, ‘God Is African’ and ‘Wole Soyinka – 'Child of the Forest’.

He also acted in ‘Lord of War’ alongside Nicolas Cage, 'Blood Diamond' and South African TV series ‘Generations’.
