Tom Holland confirms trilogy

Tom Holland has confirmed trilogy plans for the upcoming Marvel Studios' Spider-Man films.

However, Tom Holland, who plays the titular character has confirmed that Marvel Studios are planning a trilogy to explore the adventures of Tom Holland as Peter Parker in the Cinematic Universe.

"There is still a lot of room for Peter Parker and Spider-Man, especially, to grow in the next two movies,"  Holland said to Allocine.

"He’s definitely not the finished article by the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming and I really look forward to exploring the different ways he can grow up and go through puberty I guess. It’s going to be an exciting couple of movies.”

The first "Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie premieres on July 2017, with Marisa Tomei as Aunt May,Robert Downey as Iron Man Donald Clover, Abraham Attah, Michael Keaton, Logan Marshall-Green, Kenneth Choi and Zendaya.

"Spider-Man" is currently the most successful franchise in the history of Sony Pictures. Holland made his debut as the superhero in "Captain America: Civil War."
