A "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff which would focus on the Mayans motorcycle club, officially has a title.
With the pilot episode to be written by Elgin James, the upcoming spin-off will focus on the Mayans — the Oakland-based Hispanic MC gang.
In 2014, the FX biker drama wrapped up with a record breaking finale, which was seen by 9.2 million viewers.
According to the network, the spinoff is “a dark, visceral family drama that takes a new look at the most American of icons, the 1% outlaw, this time, reflected through a Latino lens."
"Sons of Anarchy" is an American crime drama television series created by Kurt Sutter, about the lives of a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club operating in Charming, a fictional town in California's Central Valley.
The show centered on protagonist Jackson "Jax" Teller (Charlie Hunnam), initially the vice president of the club, who begins questioning the club and himself.
