Popular TV series Single Ladies will not be returning for a season 4 on VH1. The ATL set and produced series from Queen Latifa’s Flavor Unit Entertainment will be forced to end its run after three seasons. The third season’s finale is scheduled to air on March 24.

According to VH1 executives, "We've been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies,"

They continued, "Although we've decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011."

Ok, but WHY is the show been denied continuation if it’s that successful; with a strong competitive rating and a huge fan base all over the world?

Speculations hold that the show never had an all-smooth ride. There was the firing of Stacey Dash [one of the cast] and then, right after it was renewed for a 3rd season, in August 2012, creator/executive producer Stacy A. Littlejohn left. Fans were forced to wait a full year and a half for season 3 to launch this past January.

Does this justify anything? We’ll keep you all posted as the story developes.
