Jennifer Lopez filming new TV drama in New York

The NBC drama sees Lopez playing the lead role as a New York City detective and single mother who gets her hands dirty in order to live a good life.

 

Jennifer Lopez has been busy filming her forthcoming TV series “Shades Of Blue” in New York, United States.

The American broadcast television, NBC drama sees Lopez playing the lead role as a New York City detective and single mother called Harlee Santos who joins a group of corrupt police officers to make illegal money in order to provide a good life for her daughter.

The drama takes a suspense filled turn when she is cornered by the FBI and made to tell on her “brothers”.

The cast of the crime series includes Dayo Okeniyi (who recently starred in Terminator Genisys), Hampton Fluker, Sarah Jeffery, Warren Kole, Vincent Laresca, Ray Liotta and Drea De Matteo.

Filming of the series started in June, 2015. It was created by Adi Hasak and directed by Barry Levinson.
