The change comes right after the news that 39-year-old Kerry Washington who plays Olivia on show is expecting her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha.
With "Greys Anatomy" and "How to Get Away with Murder" returning this 2016 and retaining their Thursday schedules, the "Scandal" change will mark the first time a Shonda Rhimes' series will share the three-hour slot with a non Shondland series.
