According to official statement from the family of the late veteran Nollywood filmmaker (Amaka Igwe) , she will be laid to rest on Friday, June 13, 2014. The filmmaker passed away on the on 28th of April, 2014 following a severe asthma attack.
Amaka Igwe to be Buried on 9th of June
Nollywood icon, Amaka Igwe, who passed away on the 28th of June will be led to rest the 9th of June in Enugu State.

Amaka Igwe is survived by her husband of 21 years Charles Igwe, three children, an aged mother and siblings.
