We are half way through June, and there are quite a number of Nollywood movies showing in various cinemas.

From "8 Bars and a Clef" to "Ghana Must Go," here are plot details for six Nollywood movies still showing in cinemas this June.

Two brothers are on opposite paths. Victor is a recent ex-con who is trying to piece his life together while Duke is a brilliant undergraduate determined to see his mum live.

Duke enlist the help of his two friends in stealing cars by decorating the cars and pretending to be married.Despite some unforeseen hiccups, their operation was pretty successful until people got greedy and violent.

The movie is showing in cinemas across Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, Ilorin, Abeokuta, Warri, Uyo and Abuja.

Set in Accra, Ghana, the comedy revolves around two young lovers who are of Nigerian and Ghanaian origin. Yvonne Okoro plays the role of Ama, a London-based Ghanaian woman who brings her Nigerian boyfriend, Chuks (Blossom Chukwujekwu), home to meet her parents much to the displeasure of her wealthy father.

Ama’s parents refuse to give their blessing to their union, citing historical happenings between the neighbouring nations as reason for their refusal. The series of events tests the love of the young couple in the most hilarious and unexpected fashion.

The movie is showing in cinemas across Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, Ilorin, Abeokuta, Warri, Uyo and Abuja.

"8 Bars and A Clef" chronicles the rise to grace of a talented act, Victor E, and stars IBK Spaceship Boi and Linda Ejiofor as love interests.

The movie follows the struggles of a young talented rapper (IBK) who battles a learning disability, a dysfunctional home and betrayal to make it in the Nigerian music industry.

The movie is showing in cinemas across Nigeria.

4. "ATM"

Synopsis

Robinson, A young man in his late 20s who believes the only way he can succeed is to travel overseas got into online dating and met a white lady, Emilia, and soon started extorting money from her in pretence that he was going to marry her.

Meanwhile, he has a Nigerian girlfriend, Caroline, who has been taking care of him and his uncle Gbenga. Robinson convinced Caroline to go along with his plan on the agreement that he was going to divorce Emilia after six months, inherit her wealth and marry her (Caroline).    When Emilia arrived Nigeria, Robinson got the shock of his life...

"Gone Grey" is a Nigerian Crime Drama film about Chief Alabamusa (Funsho Adeolu), a popular philanthropist and a man of the people who got kidnapped only to discover that money is not the motive behind his kidnap" .

The movie stars Funsho Adeolu, Judith Audu, Stan Nze, Tamara Eteimo, Seyi Hunter among others.

Sharon is a young executive who owns a growing consultancy firm in Lagos. She is in an open secret relationship with Tunde, one of her staff. Tunde loves Sharon but he’s not very sure if she will be totally humble and respect him as the man in the relationship.

After a night out together, they had an argument over who should have settled the bill, and the argument resulted in a quarrel which took Tunde away from the office and separated them for some days. In a bid to resolve the issue, Sharon went to Tunde’s house and there she found something more interesting…a script; which Tunde has been working on privately.
