1. "The Vampire Diaries"

The American supernatural drama television series is based on the popular book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith. The series which premiered on The CW on September 10, 2009, is currently set to air its seventh season finale.

The series takes place in Mystic Falls, Virginia, a fictional small town haunted and surrounded by supernatural beings such as vampires, werewolves and witches.

2. "Game of Thrones"

The American fantasy drama television series is an adaptation of "A Song of Ice and Fire", a George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels, the first of which is titled "A Game of Thrones."

Currently in its sixth season which premiered on April 24, 2016, the series has been renewed for a seventh season set to air in 2017.

3. "Pretty Little Liars"

"Pretty Little Liars" is an American teen drama, mystery–thriller television series loosely based on the popular book series of the same title, written by Sara Shepard. The show which premiered on June 8, 2010, follows the lives of four girls, Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, and Emily Fields, whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their friend, Alison DiLaurentis.

4. "Orange is the New Black"

The American comedy-drama series is based on Piper Kerman's memoir,"Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison", which chronicles her experiences at FCI Danbury, a minimum-security federal prison.

5. "Gossip Girls"

Yes... We just had to remember the entertaining American teen drama television series, which is based on the book series of the same name by Cecily von Ziegesar.

The series, which ran on The CW for six seasons, revolves around the fictional lives of upper-class adolescents living in Manhattan's Upper East Side.

6. "House of Cards"

The American political drama web television series is an adaptation of the BBC's mini-series of the same name, and is based on the novel by Michael Dobbs.

On January 28, 2016, Netflix renewed the show for a fifth season, to premiere in 2017.
