How Did You Go Into Acting?

It wasn't something I was supposed to go into, but I found myself here, and I realised that I really love what it's all about and I decided to go for it.

What Do You Love Most About Being An Actor?

What I love most is being someone else, trying to fit into someone else shoes, forgetting who Lillian is and being another character. It is Interesting, trust me.

What was it Like Moving from the Small Screen To The Big Screen?

Well, the small screen is not really small. Shooting for the small screen is really big. That is one thing people don't really get, so, the switch was good. I still miss the small screen, I am still on it, not that I left it.

Which Is More Challenging Amongst The Two?

Well, the both of them have their different challenges. You are restricted in the small screen, in the sense that you are not allowed to go to different locations. But during the big screen, you get to jump from one location to another.

Another challenge in the small screen is that you can enter into four to five different characters in a day, and trust me that is stressful.

Are There Similarities Between Lilian Esoro and Nurse Abigal?

Hell No.. (laughs). Two different characters, totally different. Well, when I was called upon to pick the script, the director called me and he is like "Hey Lilian, are you sure you can really handle this role because I have never ever seen you upset" and I am like " I love challenges ".

Trust me, Abigal is one character that I don't think anybody should be, she wants to be all over in people's business. It took a lot for me to get into that character, but I am glad that I did it well.

It is another thing to do it well and it is another thing to pass the message behind the character.

What Are The Challenges That Comes With Being  A Celebrity?

So many challenges, You lose your freedom, but it is fun walking down the road and having people recognize you and appreciate your work.

What Has Been Your Worst Moment As An Actress ?

I don;t think I have had bad moments, but, so many good moments.. You get to jump so many queues, ( laughs).

You get some little extra favours. So, the good sides are actually more than the bad sides.

What Feelings Came With Your AMVCA Nomination?

It was a huge surprise I must say. I was not even in the country when the list cam out. It was my manager that called me, and he was like "You have been nominated for AMVCA".

And then he told me the category and that I was nominated along side Funke Akindele and Mercy Johnson and am like "What|"?

That really came as a surprise and it taught me that I was actually doing something good and even though I didn't win, for me I was a winner.

What Has Been Your Most Embarrasing Moment?

(Laughs) It was actually at Silverbird Abuja. That day I was on set, and I usually don't make my hair while on set. So , I was with my friend that faithful day (laughing), we were gisting and waiting to get our tickets.

I forgot that I was wearing a wig and Lo and behold, with the crowd and everything, the wig fell off.

What Do You Think About the Growth Of Nollywood and the Term "New Nollywood and Old Nollywood"?

Nollywood as a whole is one interesting industry. I don't know how they came about with the 'Old Nollywood' and 'New Nollywood'.

But for me, the new Nollywood refers to we the new generations. I think it is a great thing that they are trying to embrace we the new talents, like I just concluded a movie with Desmond and Ini Edo.

I think Nollywood is trying to encourage diversity, we are all one.

What Would YouChange about Nollywood?

Maybe I will try to change the time frame we put into our movies. We the actor give everything ,but you know, like a marketer will come to you and tell you "This is the money, I want it out in 3 or 4 days and then they give you low budgets".

I will try as much as I can to eradicate the fact that people just rush up to do movies, we can actually take our time to do great movies. If you see the movies that have been coming out of recent - fantastic.

Who is Your Celebrity Crush?

(Laughs) No...... am sorry, I don't think I have anyone.... There is this guy, he is actually Nigerian, I can't remember his name right now. He acted in Oz.

What Are Your Future Plans?

I have plans of going into directing and producing, but I have to go to a producing school first, so I don't produce rubbish. I actually have a project coming up soon, so you will hear about it soon.

Word of Encouragement For Upcoming Stars.

The road is not smooth, but at the end of the day, just keep your head up straight and focused, and the sky will be your starting point. Hard work and also pray...
