Watch Sony's recently released TV spot for the upcoming movie 'Pixels'.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has just released a new TV spot for its upcoming comedy-action film 'Pixels'.

Starring Adam Sandler, the movie also stars Kevin James as the president of the United States, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage and Michelle Monaghan.

Plot.

"When aliens intercept video feeds of classic arcade games and misinterpret them as a declaration of war, they attack Earth, using the games as models.

Knowing that he must employ a similar strategy, President Will Cooper recruits his childhood pal, former video-game champ and home-theater installer Sam Brenner, to lead a team of old-school arcade players and a military specialist to save the planet."

'Pixels' is directed by Chris Columbus from a script by Tim Dowling and Tim Herlihy, based on the short film by Patrick Jean.
