In an exclusive chat with Pulse Nigeria, Olumide Oworu spoke on his acting journey.

According to the "A Soldier's Story" actor, he kicked off his acting career in 2000. In the video below, he spoke on being a part of "Everyday People," "The Patriots" among others.

“My acting journey started in 2000, I was about 6. Before that, I was already doing voice overs, and I was modeling for mostly corporate brands. I have always been very animated in voice conversations, and my hands are always going all over the place. I like to give expressions based on the gist I’m giving. So I figured my mum just thought we should try acting.

She took me to audition for the show called “Everyday People.” So I went there, they liked me, I got on the show, and after I stayed there for eight years.

On Olumide Oworu's 21st birthday he was announced as a nominee in the Best Supporting Actor category of the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for his role in “A Soldier’s Story.
