Movie set to premiere on TV next month

If you are yet to see the much talked about award winning film 'October 1,' then mark your calenders as the Kunle Afolayan movie is set to premiere on Africa Magic this October.

 

Following its AMAA 2015 'Best Nigerian Film' win, Kunle Afolayan's hit movie undefinedis set to premiere on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151).

The movie which will premiere at 17:30CAT (4:30pm Nigerian time), is a 2014 Nigerian dark psychological thriller film written by Tunde Babalola, produced and directed by Kunle Afolayan.

The much talked about award winning film stars Sadiq Daba, Kayode Olaiya, David Bailie, Kehinde Bankole, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Fabian Adeoye Lojede, Nick Rhys, Kunle Afolayan, Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Manuel, Ibrahim Chatta, Demola Adedoyin, and a special appearance from Deola Sagoe.

'October 1' is set in Colonial Nigeria, and narrates the story of  a police officer from Northern Nigeria,  Danladi Waziri, who is posted to a remote town of Akote in Western Nigeria to investigate the frequent female murder cases in the community, and have the mystery solved before the Nigerian flag is raised on October 1, Nigeria's Independence Day.
