Something called 'The Splat' has initiated a mysterious social media presence over the past two days, with a series of Instagram posts, YouTube clips, and a relatively basic website all seeming to hint at an undeniable Nickelodeon connection.

However, this is not the Nickelodeon of today, with its fancy newness and overrated relevance.

Instead, these are relics of a simpler time: the peak  Nickelodeon years.

The channel will be dedicated to cartoons and TV shows that were popular in the 90's.

It is pretty common to see adults watching cartoons and teen TV shows in recent times, but many have complained that the shows being aired at nothing compared to the bones aired in the 90's.

At long last, most adults would have something to look forward to.

Most of the TV shows to be aired on this channel will include but not limited to, 'Rugrats', 'Hey Arnold', 'Doug', amongst others.

Though Nickelodeon hasn't released an official statement on the existence of this so-called "Splat," the nostalgia-bathing spinoff channel also made a strong presence at this weekend's 90s Fest in Brooklyn.
