Who are the trending Nollywood persons in Nigeria? Check out Google's list of 10 most googled Nollywood entertainers in Nigeria.

Google has released a list of the most googled Nollywood actors and actresses in 2014. Making it to the list are the late Amaka Igwe, Omoni Oboli, Charles Novia, Emem Isong amongst others.

  • Amaka Igwe

The prolific filmmaker passed away earlier this year in April 2014. Amaka Igwe was popular for her TV series 'Fugi House of Commotion' and the ever green movie 'Rattle Snake'.

  • Emem Isong

The filmmaker made her directorial debut with the movie 'The Champagne'. She also got married to her longtime beau in December 2014.

  • Charles Novia

With his constant critiquing of Nigerian celebrities, he can be called one of the most controversial Nollywood personalities.

  • Uti Nwachukwu

Uti Nwachukwu hosted the popular TV show 'Star; The Winner is'. He also won the GIAMA 2014 people's choice award.

  • Omoni Oboli

From her directorial debut of 'Being Mrs Elliot', to her controversial presidential premiere, down to her controversial blue dress, it is no wonder she made it to the list.

  • Joseph Benjamin

The Nollywood actor featured in lots of interesting, attention catching movies. He was also in the press as a result of his wife, divorce and kids.

  • Ebuka Obi-Uchendu

The media personality is a host of two popular shows; 'The Spot' and 'Rubbing Minds'.

As usual, the actor featured in numerous Nollywood comedy movies which actually feeds the Nollywood fans in Nigeria.

  • Empress Njamah

The actress was in the news for allegedly owing numerous people and being broke. The actress also celebrated her birthday with the orphans.

Empress also kept entertaining her fans with her 'no make up' photos.

  • Bimbo Akinsanya

The Yoruba actress was in the news for allegedly commiting murder. She also made it to the news when she got married to an Osun business man, Ayoola Adewale.
