M.I. is planning to go into film production

M.I is already planning to make an entry into film production after successfully making a name for himself in the music industry.

M.I Abaga is currently planning to make his first movie. [Pulse]

According to information made available by CNN Africa, M.I is currently working on a film project.

It was further disclosed that the rapper has set up a production company with which he intends to produce his first film.

However, it is unsure if the Headies award winner and one-time co-host will feature in the upcoming film. Also, the name for the movie has been kept under wraps.

M.I’s second album is titled M.I. 2: The Movie.

In 2018, top Nigerian rappers, Reminisce and IllBliss were cast of Kemi Adetiba’s blockbuster, ‘King of Boys’. Their performance wowed cinema audience, hence, winning over new fans from the movie world.

Reminisce and IllBliss have since agreed to feature in more films as long as the storyline matches their expectations. 

Other rappers that have appeared in Nollywood films and TV series include Falz the Bhad Guy, Ikechukwu and Phyno.
