Her late father worked as a top banker in the 90s while her mother works in the Petroleum sector of Nigeria wherein, she served as the Women’s chairperson of the Nigerian Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) for 8 years and Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) vice chairperson.
