Simi, Denrele Edun, DJ Xclusive attend private screening of season 2

While fans await the second season of Lip Sync Battle, check out photos from the private screening.

MTV Base is set for a new season of Lip Sync Battle Africa, with a face-off between dancehall king Patoranking and Chocolate City first lady Victoria Kimani.

In anticipation of the second season, a private screening was held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Genesis Cinemas, Lekki, Lagos.

The screening was attended by celebrities including Simi, Denrele Edun, DJ Xclusive, IK Osakioduwa, Folu Storms, Katung Aduwak, Ehiz among others.

For the new season, more than 30 of the continent’s hottest celebrities and entertainers will be a part of the lip Sync Battle.

Among the revealed Nigerian contestants for season 2 are Tekno, Falz and Simi. As is customary, the stars will be joined on stage by dancers and decked out in the most outrageous outfits, wigs and props imaginable.

Pearl Thusi returns home to resume her hosting role for a second season, aided by Denrele Edun.

Lip Sync Battle Africa (season 2) premieres on MTV Base (DStv channel 322) on Saturday 22 April 2017 at 8PM.
