This time around, the actor lost to Forest Whitaker for his performance in "The Last King of Scotland."
He lost the "Best Actor" to his "Wolf of Wall Street" co-star, Matthew McConaughey, who won the prize for his performance in "Dallas Buyers Club."
The 88th Annual Academy Awards will be hosted by Chris Rock on February 28, and will air on ABC.
