In an exclusive interview with Pulse Nigeria at the just concluded Nigerian award winning actress, Kehinde Bankole spoke on lessons learnt from AFRIFF, piracy, cinema era and social media.

"We had exchange of ideas. We had exchange of our challenges, and so we knew the things that are peculiar to Nollywood, and the things that are general global problems."

"I learnt that it's actually crucial that we don't just sit back and watch only our materials, sell only our materials, and keep trying to develop ourselves, on our material.
"It's a great thing that we import things, and also export our own materials. And also export talents, not just our work. Let have exchange of people.
"We had exchange of ideas. We had exchange of our challenges, and so we knew the things that are peculiar to Nollywood, and the things that are general global problems.
The actress also spoke on Nigerians accepting the cinema era in Nollywood; "It's going to be a lot of work, but it's possible," she said.
The actress also listed piracy and the economic situation as some of the reasons why Nigerians are yet to fully accept the cinema era.

Speaking on the use of social media, the actress said the platform should be used to inform people about the fight against piracy
The fifth edition of the undefined, on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, The Palms Shopping Mall, Lekki.
The festival which kicked off with the premiere of the movie "Mediterranea," a film by Jonas Carpignano, closed on Friday 13, 2014, with Genevieve Nnaji's much anticipated movie "Road to Yesterday."
