According to 'Playbill,' a new musical based on British spy James Bond, is being developed for the broadway.

A new musical which is based on Ian Fleming's secret agent, James Bond, is in work.

To be executive produced by Merry Saltzman, 'James Bond: The Musical' will be written by novelist Dave Clarke with music and lyrics by country composer Jay Henry Weisz.
Saltzman revealed that Placeholder Productions has acquired the rights to the musical. She also stated that the musical will also feature some of 007 villains and will introduce a new Bond girl.
Coming after the undefinedthe show will open in late 2017 or early 2018.
