After weeks of speculating on which action movie old-timer would take Bruce Willis's place in the big budget movie series 'The Expendables', Director/Writer/Actor, Sylvester Stallone has announced that Hollywood topshot Harrison Ford would be coming on board The Expendables franchise for the third installment of the movie. Harrison Ford would be taking Bruce Willis's place after the latter and Stallone reportedly fell out when 'The Expendables 2' wrapped.
Its the Modern-Day Indiana Jones! Harrison Ford Joins 'The Expendables' Cast
Watch out movie lovers, Indiana Jones is returning to your screen in an even bigger way!
Stallone took to Twitter to make the announcement and while details of Harrison Ford's character is not yet known, there's no doubt that he'll be bringing the unmistakable Harrison Ford touch to the movie. Another new addition to the movie has been vampire slaying badass Wesley Snipes while Nicolas Cage, Jackie Chan and Milla Jovovich have reportedly been in 'advanced negotiation' to join the cast. While Arnold Schwarzenegger's return to the movie remains iffy, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, and Randy Couture are all expected to return and Mickey Rourke returns to reprise his role as Tool.
The movie is expected to hit theatres in 2014.
