The trailer which was received with eagerness from fans, garnered more than 136 million views in only 24 hours to become the most viewed Marvel and Disney trailer ever.
The trailer beat the previous record held by the "Beauty and the Beast" trailer, which garnered 127.6 million views in 24 hours.
Other Disney record breaking trailers include "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which was viewed 112 million times in 24 hours, "Captain America: Civil War ," which had 94 million views.

However, the most viewed trailer ever remains the trailer for Stephen King's "It," which was viewed 197 times in 24 hours.
"The Fate of the Furious" trailer also held a record in its time for garnering 139 million views in 24 hours.
Thor: Ragnarok comes to theaters November 3rd, 2017.
