Agatha Amata steps down as host of her long running talk show.
The talk show was formerly hosted by Agatha Amatha. Sandra Eze will now become the face of the talk show. Eze has admitted that she welcomes the challenge of taking on such a huge role.
"I am scared but there is this saying that ‘do it when you are scared’. I believe in what Agatha has achieved and I strongly believe that if Agatha can do it then I can do it, yes I feel pressured and some other things but I strongly believe when you take the first step and the other, it gets better" she said on Rubbin Minds.
Sandra Eze was the winner of 'The Search', a competition by Agatha Amata to find a new host for her show. "I am not sure what I did but I think I was just pretty much myself, my stubborn, quiet, inquisitive self," said Eze on how she won the contest.
"We are going to be doing a lot of things though we will still maintain the spirit of the show. We are trying to make it more useful and more ’21st-century’. We are adding a lot of twists, the audience will get addicted to watching the show" she further said.
On Rubbin Minds, Agatha Amata disclosed the reason why she stepped down as host. "I found out that I was losing touch with what was happening and I wasn't communicating well with the youth on their level, so I knew it was time to move on."
"The first thing I wanted was a right value system when the audition notice went out, I remember when we had the press conference and somebody asked me so what is the price tag, I said there is no price tag because it is about service and people were asking me are you sure anybody will show up and to my shock in the audition we had about 500 people" Agatha said about the audition.
In August 2014, Agatha Amata opened her TV channel named 'Rave Network'. It is located in Ilupeju and it is on StarTimes.
