Director of "Hear Word" to hold free workshop for female students in Unilag

The workshop will be lead by director of the stage drama, Ifeoma Fafunwa, and members of the "Hear Word" team, is for female university students who are looking to support positive change for women.

Organisers of "Hear Word! Naija Woman Talk True," the stage drama which inspires and empowers women to reach their full potential, are set to hold free workshop for female students in Unilag.

The free creative workshop is scheduled to hold on Friday November 13, 2015 at the Main Auditorium of University of Lagos, and students of Drama, Mass Communications and Creative Writing are invited to participate.

The workshop will be lead by director of the stage drama, Ifeoma Fafunwa, and members of the "Hear Word" team, is for female university students who are looking to support positive change for women.

The 2015 edition of the inspiring show starred Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, Joke Silva, Kate Henshaw, Bimbo Akintola, Omonor, Elvina Ibru, Ufuoma McDermott, Zara Udofia, Lala Akindoju, Rita Edward, Debbie Ohiri and Odenike.

'Hear Word' is an exhilarating piece of performance art that combines artistry, social commentary and true-life stories of inequality and transformation.

The stories are based on real life experiences and targets real issues affecting the lives of women, which limit their potential for achievement, independence, decision-making and leadership.
