According to the actor, the idea of becoming a James Bond would not be happening.
"I keep saying if it were to happen it would be the will of a nation because there hasn’t been any talks between me and the studio about any of that. But everywhere I go people want that to happen, so," he said.
“If I’m really honest man, I think I’m too old for that man, running around in cars and ladies and martinis, who wants to do that?,” he added.

This is not the first time the actor is addressing the issue. In July, 2015, Elba told Radio Times: “It’s just a rumour. I have no idea."
In 2015, Craig who played Bond in the 2015 "Spectre," revealed that he would rather slash his wrist than take up another Bond movie.
Other actors who have been mentioned as potential Bond include Tom Hiddleston, Henry Calvin, Damian Lewis among others.
