According to the Australian actor, he turned down the role eight years ago when he was approached.
'Wolverine' actor Hugh Jackman has revealed that he would really consider playing 007, if approached.
According to the actor, he was approached for the role 8 years ago, but he turned down the offer which he said came at the wrong time.
He revealed this to Australian television show 'The Project on Wednesday.'
At the time I was just about to do X-Men 2 and I was like, ‘Ah, I don’t think it’s the right time,'” he said. And if he was asked to play the role again? “I’d seriously consider it.”
Recently, there has been controversies surrounding rumours of Idris Elba taking over from Daniel Craig as 007.
Elba has long been fans favourite black choice to play James Bond, and also succeed Craig who is currently filming the forthcoming Bond film 'Spectre,' which hits theatres November 26, 2015.
In 2014, a hacked Sony email revealed the company thought Elba “should be the next Bond”.
