TV series cancelled after 5 seasons

Syfy has is pulling the plug on ‘Haven’, which will kick off airing of its last 13 episodes this October.

 

Syfy has cancelled its supernatural drama series 'Haven,' announcing that its fifth season will be its last.

Based loosely on Stephen King's 2005 novel 'The Colorado Kid', the series stars Balfour, Emily Rose, and Lucas Bryant in lead roles.

'Haven' explored the strange supernatural events that happened in the fictional town of Haven.

The first half of the fifth season aired in 2014. The second half of show's fifth season, which will also serve it's final 13 episodes, will debut October 8.

According to showrunner, Stanton, the upcoming end would be a “satisfying” one, because the makers approached the fifth season as the final one.
