The 25th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards held on November 31, 2015 at the Cipriani Wall Street in downtown Manhattan.

The Gotham Awards is aimed at honouring low-budget American films.

Amongst the winners is Jonas Carpigano, who directed the movie "Mediterranea,"  which kicked off the 2015 African International Film Festival (AFRIFF).
