Gifty reacts to Anto and Khloe's return, says this season is about connections

Gifty callls out #BBNaija organisers for bringing back two evicted housemates, says this season should be called "I have connections."

Gifty took to her Instagram and Twitter page to call out the organisers of the reality show for bringing back evicted housemates, who already know what viewers want from them.

She added that based on their exposure to the outside world, she wouldn't be surprised if Khloe and Anto suddenly became friends with 'popular housemates' like Rico, Tobi, Miracle and Nina.

She described the Gobe edition which featured her as contestan as the best, and the Double Wahala (current season)as "I have connections to take me anywhere."

The return of two evicted housemates

When Ebuka Obi Uchendu, the host of the 2018 Big Brother Naija show announced that the public would be voting to bring back two of their favourite evicted Housemates, the twist elicited social media reactions from many of the viewers.

While some were excited about the prospect of having their favourites back on the show, others considered it unfair to the current housemates.

On Sunday, March 25, Khloe and Anto were announced as the ex-housemates to return to the house as contestants.

Twist defended by the organisers

Via their official website, organisers of the show recently explained the twist, which, while it's the first of its kind in Africa, has been featured in ten seasons across the US and Canada versions of the show.

They stated that on a flat surface view, the potential ‘returnees’ have been exposed to the outside world, the media and have created strategic formulae that might work in their favour in terms of the game.

But in reality, the only difference between current and ex-housemates is the amount of information at their disposal:  While one group know who has been nominating them, the other doesn’t.

They insist that in terms of the votes r, the power still lies in the viewer’s hands as immunity is only awarded to Housemate that wins it fairly and nominations are driven by the Housemates themselves.

Therefore, the probability of two Housemates bringing biased scales to the House is non-existent.

There are currently 11 contestants battling for the 45 million naira grand prize. With 56 days gone, the housemates have 29 more days to spend in the Big Brother Naija house.
