1st photos of upcoming 'Harry Potter'

'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is an upcoming fantasy drama film inspired by the book of the same name by J. K. Rowling, and a spin-off of the Harry Potter film series.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first official 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them photos' via Entertainment Weekly.

They have also revealed more characters joining Eddie Redmayne, who plays Newt Scamander.

The new characters include Katherine Waterston as Porpentina “Tina” Goldstein, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, and Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski.

The upcoming film is being produced by David Heyman, who produced all eight of 'Harry Potter' films, J.K Rowling, Steve Kloves and Lionel Wigram.

'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'also stars Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan and Faith Wood-Blagrove.

Principal photography on the film commenced on August 17, 2015, at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden.

The anticipated prequel is set for a worldwide release in 3D and IMAX on November 18, 2016.

In October 2014, the studio announced the film as "at least" a trilogy. The second installment is set to be released on November 16, 2018, followed by the third installment on November 20, 2020.
