TV series breaks new record

'Empire' is not just one of the most talked about 2015 TV shows, It's also on pace to be FOX TV's fastest-growing drama.

Empire's latest episode scored the highest-rated regularly scheduled episode of any broadcast network drama since Grey's Anatomy in September 2010.

The Fox TV's biggest new hit of the year hit 13.8 million viewers and a 5.3 rating among adults 18-49, marking seven weeks of audience growth.

The hit series centers around a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Enterprises, and the drama among the members of the founders' family as they fight for control of the company.

'Empire' stars Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Bryshere Y. Gray, Jussie Smollett amongst others.
