After the Gaye family sued Robin Thicke and Pharrell over 'Blurred Lines,' Gaye’s son, Marvin Gaye III has plans of suing 'Empire' creator Lee Daniels for stealing his 'idea'.
According to TMZ, Marvin he registered a treatment for a show called (akaThose Sons of Riches!) in 2010 through the Writers Guild of America.
According to Marvin, the treatment describes a family in the music business "music based 'black' and 'hip' version of 'Dynasty' ... with a little 'Sopranos," TMZ reports.
Marvin's treatment show was based on the lives of his family and the Berry Gordy family.
According to TMZ, Gaye’s lawyer says he plans to file a lawsuit against Daniels, Fox network and every other person involved.
