DC Universe villain to appear in solo "Batman" movie

Ben Affleck took to social media to share a video of Deathstroke on set.

While he shared the video without explaining if the DC Universe villain will appear in "Justice League" or the solo "Batman" movie, The Wrap reports that Deathstroke will be the main antagonist of the upcoming solo Batman movie.

Deathstroke, aka Slade Wilson, was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez. He is a mercenary and assassin who first appeared in The New Teen Titans #2.

Ben Affleck’s debut movie as Batman “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” earned over $785.8 million worldwide.

In 2012, Affleck directed and starred in "Argo", which won him the Golden Globe Award, BAFTA, and Directors Guild Award for Best Director, and the Golden Globe Award, BAFTA, the Producers Guild Award, the Academy Award for Best Picture.

Affleck will next be seen in “Justice League: Part One,” which has kicked off in London.

The upcoming movie stars him alongside Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amber Heard as Queen Mera and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
