Titled "24: Legacy," Hawkins will play Eric Carter, a military hero who returns to the U.S. with a whole lot trouble around him.
After settling with his wife Nicole in Virginia, Carter’s past comes back to haunt him, and with nowhere else to turn, he asks CTU to help him save his life, while also stopping one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.

"There's a time jump, a new organisation, a completely different story. It’s a contemporary story about the potential to activate sleeper cells in the United States. There are nods in the pilot to prior CTU agents, but no ongoing characters," Fox's co-chairman and CEO Dana Walden teased.
Recently, Hawkins played Dr. Dre in the award winning film "Straight Outta Compton."
