Nigerian actress, Bridget John wins best actress award in USA.

Producer and lead actress of the award winning movie "Adora", Bridget John has once again bagged an award. The Nigerian actress received the “Best Actress” award for her role in the award winning movie “Adora”.

Bridget John received the award from Hollywood Magazine at its annual film festival which was held in California, USA.

The movie 'Adora' won the 'Best Film in the Diaspora' award at the recently held Nollywood and African Film Critics’ Awards.

Following a bitter separation and subsequently, a divorce from her husband Michael, Adora is stripped of everything that means anything to her including her adorable daughters.

Her life is reduced to shreds. Starting afresh, Adora manages to procure a studio apartment where she resides while attempting to rebuild what’s left of her shattered life. Society preys on the weak, the vulnerable and the defenseless.

She finds love…or so it seems. Life seems to be picking up and piecing together until the inconceivable happens. But what exactly?
