The Governor Of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has been unveiled as the host of BON 2015.

The Governor Of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has been unveiled as host of the annual Best Of Nollywood (BON) Awards 2015.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at an event attended by Nollywood actors like Alex Ekubo, Ngozi Nwosu, Segun Arinze, Yomi Fash Lanso, Fathia Williams among others.

“We are happy to announce that Dr Olusegun Mimiko and the good people of Ondo State are the host of this year’s Best of Nollywood Awards.

The good-natured medical doctor cum politician has promised to give Nollywood stars and stakeholders a ball and a blast during the awards ceremony in December.

Last night, before a colorful audience comprising the cream of Nollywood stars including Segun Arinze, Yomi Fash Lanso, Alex Ekubo, Ngozi Nwosu, fathia Willaims, Ebube Nwagbo and Amanda Ebiye among others, Gov. Mimiko promised that BON 2015 would be the best ever.” Executive Producer BON Awards Seun Oloketuyi.

According to the governor of Ondo, the state is aiming at ensuring that the 2015 edition is the best ever.

`We will give spirit and soul to the Best of Nollywood Awards this year. It would be held in the best event centre in the country which is our new ultra-modern Dome, which would make the Expo Centre in Lagos look like a village square," he said.

The 2014undefined held in Port Harcourt, where former governor Rotimi Amaechi was accused of insulting Nollywood actors.

The 2015 edition undefined December 15.
