Ninalowo’s cousin, Rukky Sanda decided to help him rise again by giving him roles in her flicks, Whats Within and Dark.
Light skinned hunk, Bolanle Ninalowo has recently become the toast of several producers in Nollywood barely four years after he won the Best of Nollywood Award for revelation of the year.
Interestingly, the light skinned hunk’s entry into the movie industry was as an actor cum producer of a movie entitled Rebirth- an advocacy flick with HIV/ AIDS as theme.
After getting nods from the Lagos State government, the advocacy flick was expected to have opened doors of movie roles but none came his way, and he decided to venture into music business.
He kicked off with the Diesel Music record label and signed on two music acts but that move neither gave him the fulfilment he wanted nor the acceptance he craved for yet, an estimated N20m went down the drain.
However, Ninalowo’s cousin, Rukky Sanda decided to help him rise again by giving him roles in her flicks, Whats Within and Dark.
This move surprisingly opened a flood gate of movie roles for Ninalowo, who has since acted in movies that include End Game by Zik Zulu Okafor, The Real Deal by Desmond Elliot, You and I by Monalisa Chinda, Igene by Tana Adelana, Indecent Assault by Hunters media, DNA by Glam View, Crossroads by Emeka Ossai, Butterflies by Vocative Films, Obsessed Husbands of Lagos by Mary Remmy Njoku and Roc studios, Carpe Diem by Robert Peters/ Mnet, Dowry Man by MNET/ Desmond Elliot, Red Card by Zik Zulu Okafor/ MNET, Jazz me up by Mbong Amata, So in love by Ibaka tv, Akpos & company by Mike Nliam, For the wrong reasons by Diamond pictures and Glass slippers by Royal arts academy.
