Actor explains the 'new and old Nollywood' term [Video]

Watch actor speak on the difference between the widely used term 'New and Old Nollywood'.

Bobby Michaels

Nollywood actor, Bobby Michaels, recently spoke to Pulse Nigeria on the popular term 'Old and New Nollywood'.

According to Bobby, Nollywood isn't going back to the old school.

"The old Nollywood movie is a starter point where you have people like NEK video links, Chico Ejiro and the rest of them, making films that were called home videos".

"Today we have filmmakers, directors, who have been to film school. Who have been taught the act of making a film. Even if it's a B film, they make the kind of films you can go to the cinemas and watch".

"Back in the days, you couldn't make the kind of movie people could go to the cinemas and watch, because to start with, they didn't have the kind of cameras we have now".
