Since he appeared in the romantic Michelle Bello production, “Flower Girl”, Blossom Chukwujekwu has become one of Nollywood’s favourites.

He is a Benin boy.

Chukwujekwu was born in Benin City, Edo State on November 4, 1983. He received all his education in the capital city of the southern Nigerian state. His family is originally from Anambra state, which is in the eastern region of Nigeria.

He has a degree in Mass Communication.

The Nollywood actor received a degree in this subject from Benson Idahosa University, Benin in July, 2008. While he was at university, he was the President of the Association of Mass Communication Students (AMCOS) for the 2007/2008 session.

He first started acting on stage.

During his under graduate days at Benson Idahosa University, he was a member of House of Theatre. It was here he began acting and played several lead roles in stage dramas.

He started acting professionally in 2009.

In 2009, he landed a role in a soap opera. Following this he was starred in a film titled "Private Storm" next to Ramsey Noauh and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde.

2013, marked the year many saw the actor blossom.

After his performance as Tunde Kelani in "Flower Girl", the artist quickly shot to the limelight. In 2015, Chukwujekwu won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards 2015.
