Season 2 of "Breaking Bad" prequel gets premiere date

"Better Call Saul" which wrapped up its first season with Jimmy seemingly deciding to go to the dark side as Saul, will return soon.

The long wait for the second season of "Breaking Bad" prequel series is almost over.

According to AMC, the show which wrapped up its first season with Jimmy seemingly deciding to go to the dark side as Saul, will return on February 15, 2016.

Set in 2002, "Better Call Saul" follows the story of small-time lawyer James Morgan "Jimmy" McGill (Bob Odenkirk), six years before his appearance on "Breaking Bad"  as Saul Godman; events after the original series are briefly explored.

The first season premiered on February 8, 2015, and consisted of 10 episodes, which grabbed an average of 5.9 million viewers over its course.

According to the Nielsen figures, 'Better Call Saul' averaged 3.7 million viewers among adults 18-49.

The show wrapped its first season on Sunday, April 4, 2015 with 5.1 million viewers. AMC ordered for a second season In June 2014.
