Warner Bros. have released a deleted scene from "Batman vs Superman" which features how Lex Luthor was apprehended.
Following its release, the movie has received mixed reviews, mostly negative reviews.
On Monday, March 27, 2016, fans received a surprise deleted scene clip titled "Communion," which features more of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
The clip also features how the villain was finally apprehended. In the scene, Lex is seen inside the wreckage of General Zod's ship, after he has created Doomsday to battle the superheroes.
As military forces enter the ship to capture him, they find him communing with some sort of demon figure, controlling three Mother Boxes.

Clark Kent doesn't trust Gotham's mysterious masked vigilante. Bruce Wayne doesn't trust the alien who nearly destroyed Metropolis. And Lex Luthor, who hates Superman more than anyone, is manipulating both of them for his own twisted ends.
The highly-anticipated action adventure stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter, with Jason Momoa making an appearance as Aquaman.
