In commemoration of Mama Rainbow's 76th birthday, here are 5 movies starring the popular Yoruba actress.

Widely referred to as Iya Rainbow, this Nollywood actress, popular for her roles in Yoruba movies, is 76 today, Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

Her ability to succinctly interpret her characters in movies have not only endeared her to fans but has also made her one of the enviable veterans.

Phillips, whose late husband was Ayanfemi Augustine Oroniyi Phillips introduced her to acting, adopted the name Mama Rainbow - The Rainbow woman - after the death of her husband in 1984.

Her late husband was known as Baba Osumare for being the founder of a theatre group, Osumare Theatre Group.

She is currently a brand ambassador for Airtel, one of the leading telcos in Nigeria.
