Show to return for 5th season in October
CW has announced the premiere date for the fifth season of its hit series "Arrow."

Following the entertaining fourth season, CW has announced that the series will return for its fifth season on October 5, 2016.

On the season four finale, Arrow stabbed Damien Darhk dead and saved Star City from a dramatic and catastrophic conflict, Diggle revealed he is re-enlisting in the army, and Oliver was sworn in as as mayor of Star City.

Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Katie Cassidy as Dinah “Laurel” Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn, with Paul Blackthorne as Detective Lance.
