Haynes who played Roy Harper until his departure from the show in its third season, is set to return in an upcoming episode.
Colton Haynes is making a return to The CW's "Arrow."
The actor, who played Roy Harper until his departure from the show, is set to return in an upcoming episode.
In an episode in Season three, Roy protected Oliver by taking the fall for being "The Arrow." He faked his own death in jail, and left town to the dismay of Thea.
According to the show's EP Marc Guggenheim, Haynes will make his return in the upcoming 12th episode of the ongoing fourth season.
"We are beyond thrilled that Colton will be returning to Arrow this season. It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season, but it was a matter of finding the right story line to pull it off. That opportunity presented itself in episode 412 and we can’t wait for the fans to see this reunion,” he said.
Haynes took to his Twitter account to also share the news.
Roy joined the hit TV show as a recurring character in the 15th episode of season one, and became a series regular in season two.
