Actress joins comedy series 'Transparent'

The show follows a dysfunctional LA family whose secrets start to unravel when the adult children find out their father is transitioning from Mort to Maura.

Just few hours to 2015, Emmy awards, the nominated for outstanding comedy series. “Transparent” adds Anjelica Huston for season 2.

According to Variety Anjelica Huston will be joining Jeffrey Tambor and company for three episodes.

The show follows a dysfunctional LA family whose secrets start to unravel when the adult children find out their father is transitioning from Mort to Maura.

Huston, will reportedly play her “new friend,” but no further details about her character have been released.

''Transparent' is nominated for several Emmy Awards this weekend including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Tambor) and Outstanding Comedy Series. On September 12, Bradley Whitford took home a Creative Art Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series.
