The actor will return as the lead U.S. Secret Service agent assigned to head the U.S. Presidential detail in the movie which will be produced by Alan Siegel, Mark Gill, John Thompson, Matt O'Toole alongside Butler.

"Angel Has Fallen" which kicks off production in first half of 2017, will focus on Banning as he becomes the target of a terrorist attack.
