While there has been no much details on casting, it has been confirmed that Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Sarah Paulson, andAngela Bassett will return for the upcoming sixth season.

The released teaser which features a hidden farmhouse with a smoke problem, has fans speculating that the upcoming season will be based on a murder, Texas chainsaw and lots of murder.

Earlier this year, FX CEO John Landgraf stated that the sixth season will be set in the present day, “It’s set in the present although with echoes of the past,” he said. “It’s set in two time periods, but principally in the present.”
