2015 edition to hold in South Africa

Organisers of the upcoming 11th edition of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) have announced South Africa as the venue for upcoming event.

Jimmy Jean-Louis, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, Omotala Jalade and Dayo Ogunyemi at the AMAA Nominations Night in LA

The 11th edition of the AMMA awards will take place in South Africa, on Saturday, September 26, 2015.

The announcement was made at the LA event which unveiled

"Last Night at the Nominations of the most prestigious awards for Black filmmakers aound the Globe AMAA it was announced that the 2015 edition will be held in South Africa on 26th September 2015 ,the African cinema business round table and Africaone concert will be held that week. It promises to be a show stopper." - They announced on their Facebook page.

The last edition of AMMA held on April 26, 2014 at Bayelsa State.

Africa Movie Awards Academy is the platform that projects African movies to Africans and the world at large. It celebrates outstanding artistry performances annually.
